Assembly Detail
1. Stand by rear panel on the footing at the rear of the filter. The timber mounting board should be located at the top of this panel or slab.
2. Slide on side panel into the female fold of the rear panel and secure using roundhead bolts and nuts. Repeat process with other side panel.
3. Fit the front panel (with door knobs at top) in the same method as the rear panel
4. You may note that the fit of the sides into the front and back panels is “sloppy” on two corners of the box, the rubber spacers should be employed on these corners. Slide one thickness of rubber between the foam and the metal on the inside fold of the side panel with the other side of the spacer outside to fill the void between the side, front and back panels. Use spacers on each “sloppy” corner and locate them above the screw holes.
5. Place the lid on the top of the box and line up the 10 mm hinge pivot holes with the 10 mm holes on the side of the box. Secure one side using hexhead bolts, nuts and washers provided. Repeat the process on the other side. The rear of the Lid should now sit 25 mm above the top of the box in order to assist ventilation.
6. Place the top baffle inside the top of the box and slide it to the farrear of the box until it is flush with the rear panel. It is important that this baffle is flush with the rear of the box in order to achieve maximum acoustic performance.
7. The box can be secured to the footing (or slab) using the 2 woodscrews provided. Remove the front door and insert the screw through the holes in the bottom fold of the front panel/s.
8. Fit the lid to the underside front of lid using the woodscrew provided.
9. Electrics can now be attached to the timber board inside the rear panel.
